Favorite Experience at UA: My greatest success was earning the Louise B. Tate Memorial Scholarship and the Buford Boone Memorial Scholarship. My favorite overall experience was being apart of the American Studies program. My classes have felt enjoyable every day because I truly love my major.
Favorite Class: My favorite course was AMS 150: Popular Culture in America because it introduces a wide variety of American history and culture. It also allows students to meet all of the American Studies professors. While I loved all of the professors in the American Studies department, Dr. Carey was one of my favorites. He truly cared for all of his students and encouraged me to join the program.
Future Plans: I plan to get a job as a high school history teacher.
