Favorite Experience: My greatest success on campus was receiving the 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-American award. This award showed my hard work and dedication to my academics and to my team did not go unrecognized. Over the past fifty years, this award has only been given to four other female swimmers. As the swimming and diving team continues to grow and thrive, it was important to me that I was able to leave my mark on this team. However, my favorite experience on campus was singing ‘Dixieland Delight’ after every Saturday morning with my team. Singing ‘Dixieland Delight’ at the end of every Saturday morning practice made me feel a sense of tradition and love for the University of Alabama.

Favorite Class: My favorite class was Quantitative Methods at the graduate level. This was my favorite course because I was nervous to take this class because I had not taken a math class since high school. However, this class helped me discover a love and passion for statistics and data. I have two favorite professors. The first one is Dr. Patton (the director of the MPA program). As an undergraduate, she convinced and guided me into the MPA program. I am forever grateful because her guidance helped me receive my undergraduate and graduate degree in four years. My other favorite professor is Dr. Lake. Dr. Lake is a charismatic and fascinating professor between his teaching style and background. His classes and mentorship has allowed me to fully learn and encapsulate each area of national security and international relations.

Future Plans: Currently, I have a job lined up as a financial analyst at 3-2-1 Capital, an investment banking company, in Columbia, Maryland
