Favorite Experience: My favorite overall experience was traveling to Tanzania as a 2019 Boren Scholar. I became fluent in Swahili and took courses for 8 months as part of this program. I am extremely grateful to have participated in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Favorite Class: My favorite course was Numerical Analysis. I really enjoyed learning the techniques employed in real-world scenarios that necessitate numerical methods. It was a satisfying overlap between theory and practical application.

Future Plans: I am continuing on to graduate studies as a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford next year.
