Major: International Studies and Spanish

Hometown: St. Louis, Missouri

Favorite Experience at UA: I lead an ESL class for adult english-learners in the community each week. It is my greatest accomplishment because I have learned so much about myself, learned to plan and organize lessons, and also have built relationships with people from all sorts of different backgrounds. I am so thankful for my Spanish professor, Dr. Posner, for getting me connected and introducing me to ESL!

Favorite Class: My favorite class was SP 389, Spanish Outreach. I got to work in a local elementary school and provide language support for the students. It was so much fun and was an extremely rewarding experience. My favorite professor was Dr. Posner. She is so passionate about what she does and always tells her students about opportunities in the community. You can tell she wants each student to be successful.

Future Plans: I will be starting the MA TESOL program at UA in the fall. After graduation, I plan to teach English as a Second Language.
